Cruise Visit

The cruise ship “Van Gogh” made a welcome second visit to the Port of Larne on Monday evening 18th July. Following its arrival from Greenock, the ship took on board 111 passengers before departing for Lisbon and other destinations including Gibraltar and Tangier.
This is the first of three scheduled visits to the port by the Van Gogh this year.
Port of Larne is working closely with Larne Borough Council to promote the town as a cruise destination and hopes to build on the excellent opportunities for shore excursions in the area.
P&O Chief Executive, Robert Woods, took the opportunity of a visit to Larne and Cairnryan today to make clear the company's commitment to its Irish Sea ferry operations.
