RoRo and LoLo
The Port of Larne is the premier RoRo port in Ireland operating four RoRo berths, capable of handling wide and heavy loads up to 180 tonnes. Three of our berths are equipped with twin level ramps, allowing two-deck ferries to load and discharge simultaneously. This ensures rapid turnaround times, ideal for urgent or perishable goods. On our Larne-Cairnryan service our turnaround times are just one hour .
The Port also offers LoLo facilities and handles a wide range of bulk and general cargoes, such as stone aggregate, concrete, building and forestry products, steel and fertilisers.
